We are extremely proud to announce that last Thursday, June 29, Variosystems was honored with the “Best Managed Companies in Switzerland” Award by Deloitte.
The awards program singles out the best-managed private companies in more than 35 countries. Company management is analyzed on the basis of criteria such as strategy, innovation, culture, governance and finance in a three-stage process and evaluated by an independent panel of judges. In Switzerland, Deloitte has been picking out five or six companies as “Best Managed” on an annual basis since 2020.
“Having been voted Best Managed Company in Switzerland, our team is additionally energized, motivated and determined to systematically implement our strategy of building a global development, industrialization and supply chain management service platform to provide our customers with electronics solutions. We are absolutely delighted that our value-oriented culture and strategy have received the recognition they deserve.”
Stephan Sonderegger, CEO of Variosystems
We focus on the close integration of regional customer organizations, which serve customers along the entire value chain, with the global production and supply chain management platform. The bundling of these competencies assures a smooth transition from the development and industrialization phase to production services such as PCB-, Box build- and Wire harness assembly, leading on to lifecycle management. At every stage of the product cycle, we act according to our Customer Success Management principles, which put our customers’ needs at the center of our services.
With the acquisition of long-time development partner Solve Engineering based in Buchs (St. Gallen) in spring 2020 and the integration of Kubeg based in Zizers (Grisons) in April 2023, we have consolidated our competencies in development, rapid prototyping and small series production. Production capacity has also been steadily ramped up in recent years. The expansion of the site in Sri Lanka from 15,000 to 30,000 square meters, which started at the beginning of 2022, is due to be completed in the summer of 2023, and the new production plant in Mexico was fully commissioned this year. Further investments in production capacities and a strategic market expansion in the Asia Pacific region are also planned. In this way, we are affirming our corporate vision: “To be the most trusted and sustainable electronics services partner”
